Location: Ireland (Mostly remote with occasional visits to office in Athlone)

Overview

A leading logistics and distribution organisation is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure the delivery of high-quality software across multiple systems. This role involves analysing requirements, creating and executing test cases, and identifying defects prior to release. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse requirements and ensure full test coverage
• Create, maintain, and execute test cases
• Perform manual, automation, and performance testing
• Identify, document, and track defects
• Produce clear QA documentation and reports
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and stakeholders
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes

Requirements

Essential:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently and manage workload

Desirable:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar
• ISTQB certification
• Experience in automation testing (e.g. Selenium)
• Experience in performance testing (e.g. JMeter)
